- Qualified Social Workers
- JNC Youth worker/Mentor
- Residential Support Workers
- Qualified Integrated Counsellor (BACP)
- Qualified Systemic Family/Psychotherapist
- Serious Gang Violence Practitioner
- Substance Misuse Practitioner
We have developed a strategy which encompasses all aspects of the running of our organisation, to ensure that service delivery is robust and is making a positive impact for all young people. This includes: regular staff meetings where key workers and management come together on a regular basis to discuss young people's welfare, attendance to appointments, safeguarding and interventions they are engaging in.
In addition to the above it is not just our policy but a requirement from Ofsted - under regulations 17-19 that all staff have the necessary requirements to work with vulnerable people which includes training. All our staff have access to the big initiative training hub which we subscribe to. This is monitored and documented in their training matrix. Further to this, all CGS staff receive a comprehensive induction, 1:1 monthly reflective supervision, and team meetings.
We have a strong desire to lead a confident and well trained team and have joined a training provider which is accessible to all our staff. Further to this, our systemic practitioner will provide staff training in how to use systemic approaches when engaging in work with young people.
